Important: Food Safety First

Because food safety is #1 priority:

  • Food products are generally non-returnable

  • BUT we do refund for real quality problems

  • Report issues within 24-48 hours of delivery

  • Must be unopened in original packaging


When CAN You Return Products?

✓ Damaged during delivery (broken seal, leaking)
✓ Wrong product sent (ordered pickle, got sweets)
✓ Expired or near expiry (Best Before date passed)
✓ Quality issues (spoiled, rancid, moldy)
✓ Missing items from your order
✓ Non-delivery after 7-10 days


When CAN'T You Return Products?

✗ Package already opened
✗ Product already eaten
✗ You don't like the taste (taste is personal!)
✗ You changed your mind
✗ Reported issue after 48 hours
✗ Damaged because you stored it wrong
✗ You left it in sun/heat and it spoiled


How to Return Products - 4 Easy Steps

Step 1: Report Immediately 📱

Within 24-48 hours, contact us:

Tell us:

  • Order number

  • What's wrong with the product

  • Send photos if possible

Step 2: Send Evidence 📸

Send photos of:

  • The damaged/defective product

  • The broken packaging

  • The bill/receipt

  • Video if needed (for liquid products)

Step 3: We Approve Your Return ✅

Within 24 hours:

  • We check your photos

  • If approved, we give you a return number

  • We arrange FREE pickup

Step 4: Get Refund or Replacement 💰

After we receive and check the product:

  • Refund: 7-10 days to your original payment method

  • Replacement: New product shipped in 3-5 days


How Long Will My Refund Take?

  1. You report issue = 24 hours

  2. We inspect it = 3-5 days

  3. We process refund = 1-2 days

  4. Bank credits money = 5-7 days

Total: Usually 10-15 days from when you report


Refund Amount

Full Refund (100%):

  • Damaged or defective product

  • Wrong product sent

  • Order cancelled before shipping

Partial Refund:

  • If only some items are defective

  • Shipping charges may be deducted if it's your fault


How You Get Your Refund

  • Card/UPI: Back to same card/UPI account (5-7 days)

  • Net Banking: Back to your bank account (5-7 days)

  • Cash on Delivery: Bank transfer (7-10 days)

    • You must provide: Account number, IFSC code, Account holder name


We Can Also Offer You a Replacement

Instead of refund, get a new product:

  • Same product or different one

  • No extra charge for shipping

  • New product sent in 3-5 days

  • You don't need to pay again


Cancellation

Before We Ship (First 2 Hours)

✓ Cancel for free
✓ Full refund, no questions
✓ Same day approval

After We Ship

✗ Cannot cancel usually
But you can refuse delivery:

  • Will be returned to us

  • Return shipping charges may apply


Cash on Delivery Cancellations

  • If you refuse without good reason = Extra shipping charge deducted

  • Too many refusals = We may block COD option for you

  • Genuine issues = Full refund accepted


Lost or Not Received

If package was delivered but you didn't receive it:

  1. Tell your neighbors or building security

  2. Contact courier immediately

  3. Contact us with proof

  4. If confirmed lost = Full refund or reship free


Damaged During Delivery

Report within 24 hours:

  1. Take photos of:

    • Damaged package

    • Broken product

    • Spilled contents

  2. Email: Hello@anjanahomefoods.com with photos

  3. Options:

    • FREE replacement OR

    • Full refund


Food Safety = No Returns on These

Because of FSSAI food safety rules:
✗ Can't return opened/consumed products
✗ Can't return if seal was broken by you
✗ Can't return food eaten or partially eaten

This protects YOU and everyone else from food poisoning.


Taste is Personal

If you just don't like the flavor:

  • We can't refund (food safety rule)

  • But if truly rancid/spoiled = YES, we refund

  • Need to be honest about the issue

For large orders or gifts, special rules may apply.
